its undeniable. steve nash is the best supporting player in the nba. its hard to dis a guy who frequently has 17 or 18 assists a night. i mean cummon...the guy averages almost 12 assist every outing...as well as contributing a little less then 17 pts. ya...AI scores more then that...but nash only has 2.5 TO'S a night...and makes everyone around him better. sure...his def has seemed to slide a lil bit this year...but thats only because they make him play 35 mins a game and hes running his tail off. nobody plays harder...period. also, phoenix sucks w/ out him...when he was hurt they were terrible. its gonna come down to phoenix and san antonio...and i think the spurs are probably better. but that shouldnt take away from what a great season nash is having. his MVP season.

i think AI is way better. he has the All-Star game MVP which only helps him out. n if u think AI's only good 4 points ur screwin urself cause he frequently gets 8-9 assists per game, sometimes more. n how can u say he doesnt deserve it when he had a 60 POINT NITE? that is hardly ever done, n it proves that AI is a standout. Steve Nash mite have a gr8 team around him, but AI only had Korver n Iguodala, 2 young unexpierenced players. pretty much AI makes the whole team good. if u think Nash has no support ur messed up. Stoudemire is a beast, n plus so has some extra support in there. AI deserves it more than Nash

well nobody can play the "AI dont got shit around him card again." Chris Webber will soon be joining him in philly. im not saying AI isnt a great player...but he never makes anyone around him better. steve nash might not be the best scorer in the league...mainly because he doesnt need to. ball movement is the key when you have a small team. AI is great...but he is also selfish. i think that phoenix is gonna continue to get better, without having to sign superstars to hundred million dollar contracts.

WTF? AI is the EXACT OPPOSITE of selfish. he normally gets 8-9 assists, he had 10 assists in the All-Star game, but yes its true he scores alot. that doesnt mean crap in the NBA. my point is the Suns have overall more depth than almost ne other team besides possibly Cleveland, Heat, n Spurs. the Sixers is another story. the exception of Webber, AI has nobody that truly helps him out. sure he gets some ppl the ball n get them 20 points a game, but they dont have as much talrnt as him n he has by himself made them as good of a position as he can.

true AI gets quite a few assists. but that wasnt wat im talking about as selfish. he will hit a man if they are open w/ the ability to score. but he wont pass the ball off just cuz he doesnt have anywhere to go. sometimes in basketball, you just have to have your hands on the ball to get a feel for the speed of the game and have that touch when u do shoot. AI also doesnt put himself in harms way by setting a pick. Nash does. its true that most teams (especially in the east this year) run a zone anymore...but nash gives up his body. AI doesnt. once agian, AI is a great player but nash deserves the mvp.

BEING A SPURS FAN, I WOULD GO WITH DUNCAN, AND HERE IS WHY, his scoring is lower than ai 20.3 vs 30.3 per game, and fewer assists 3.7 vs 8.0 for ai, but duncan has more blocks per game 2.7 than ai had all year, 4x more rebounds 11.1 vs 2.3. duncan ranks as the #1 def player this year 3rd in blocks, 3rd in rebounds, and has the most steals of any center. i could not find a single block for ai (7th on the 76ers) and ai wasn't even 2nd on his team in rebounds, to be mvp you need to play both sides of the ball. Nash will probley win, and thats ok, the suns might not have made the playoffs with out him. stats from yahoo.

hey jon, nash can't win the world, until he can beat the spurs, and that don't look to happen soon. Nash is a great player that doesn't get the respect he deserves until now. i know you hate to hear it but leaving the mavs was the best thing for him. i poke a lot of fun at you, be i was happy to see him win the mvp. as long as the spurs go to the finals.
