comic book movies rule the cinema

its just a cold hard fact anymore...comic book movies are in and they are selling like crazy. there have been more comic book movies in the last 5 years then the previous 30....comic book movies account for well over half of last years true blockbusters and they are the best directed. any time you can have a movie that already has a built in audience...you cant lose. i think i figured it out last month...and there will be 14 comic movies coming out on '05...w/ many, many more in the works or on the drawing board. i believe that graphic art is finally becoming a recognized and respected medium...and that the silver screen reflects that.
any thoughts?...lol
